Can I call Investigations to speak with a detective about any leads I may have on a case?: If you have any information pertaining to an incident or an existing investigation you must first contact Dispatch at (970) 731-2160 to request to speak with a deputy. The deputy will make the determination if that information will need to be reviewed by a detective.

2. How do I recover / collect my property once it has been entered into evidence?: Investigations has a part-time property technician who releases the property. You must have a release from the District Attorney’s Office or proof of ownership before the property will be released.
