[ARCHIVED] Big Spring Clean May 5th & 6th

The Big Spring Clean 2023 Flyer

On Friday and Saturday May 5th and 6th, 2023, Archuleta County and the Town of Pagosa Springs will again, collectively, host the annual Big Spring Clean as they have for the past couple of decades.

All are welcome to participate in the cleanup efforts on Saturday May 6th by meeting at Yamaguchi Park at 9am to pick up bags and vests. Return to the park at 11:30am for a free and fun community BBQ with live music, awards and a homemade ice cream contest (in honor of the late, local activist Larry Fisher). Bring your lawn chairs!

To volunteer: please fill out the form online at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScKQy5FsVwkPBupiU-bba1ozgkJ0Zi4hyLfMPurGs4bvye0VQ/viewform?usp=sf_link

Roll-off dumpsters will be placed around town and the county for free dumping of roadside, park, and home exterior trash. They will be manned and available both days from 8am-3pm at the following locations:

  • Town Shop: 550 Pirate Drive (located inside the fenced lot)
  • Aspen Springs Park on Ute Drive
  • PLPOA Clubhouse on Lake Street between the clubhouse parking lot and the remote airfield.
