Reorganization of the Advisory Committee

Following the resignation of Kathy Campbell, the Vice Chair Sally Kennedy will take the Chairperson's position and a new Vice Chair must be selected.

Discussion on Possible Recruitment of Additional Members

Following the resignations of two members and Ashley Wilson being hired as the Public Health Director, there are three open seats on the advisory committee.  This discussion will determine whether or not to recruit new members to the committee.

Letter of Intent for Nurse Family Partnership

This letter provides Archuleta County's intention of participating in the Nurse Family Partnership effective January 1, 2024.

Programming Discussion

This discussion is to delve deeper into each of the foundational services required of a Public Health Department to look at:

  • Services to be provided beginning in January 2024 and how they'll be provided - by MOU or in-house;
  • What credentials and training are needed;
  • How the foundational capabilities (the cross cutting aspects) will be addressed:
  • An organizational chart of the department and how to organize that according to the foundational capabilities.
