This is an application for a Special Events Permit for Our Savior Lutheran Preschool and School to sell Malt, Vinous and Spiritous Liquor at their location at 56 Meadows Drive in Pagosa springs, CO for the Boots, Barrels and Bling fundraiser on April 28, 2023. The Sheriff has been notified of this event. The proper fees were collected and the premises was posted for the required ten (10) days prior to today's hearing. The financial impact to the county is the fees paid per the county fee schedule and staff recommends approval of this Special Events Permit.
This is a renewal of a County Liquor Store license for Pagosa Liquor Inc. dba Pagosa Liquor located at 30-B North Pagosa Blvd. in Pagosa Springs, CO. Note that in 2022, the applicant was issued a citation by the State Liquor Enforcement Division for selling to a minor. The applicant is working with the state for payment of their fine and this one instance should not be the sole grounds for withholding the license renewal. This renewal includes no changes to the premises. The application is complete and the proper fees have been paid. The Sheriff's Office and County Building Department have completed their inspections and found no issues. The financial impact to the county is the fees paid per the county fee schedule and staff recommends approval of this license renewal.
This request is to consider a Resolution authorizing the un-consolidation of Lot 57X of Aspen Springs Subdivision No. 4, to become Lots 57XA and 59A, owned by James R. Bell Trust. The impact to the county budget includes fees paid per the County Fee Schedule, generally balanced by a reduction in property taxes. This consolidation has been reviewed and is recommended for approval. Responsible Staff: Stephen Slade, Planner.
This letter is to provide notice to the Federal Aviation Administration that the county selected Jviation, a Woolpert Company, to provide engineering services for the Archuleta County Airport. The Chairman signed this letter on April 6, 2023.
This resolution was tabled at the April 4, 2023 regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners and has been revised to reflect changes recommended by the County's Public Health Department Transitional Advisory Committee.
This resolution adopts the hazard mitigation plan for a five-year period.
The Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce is requesting county approval to install a wi-fi unit on the Administration Building on Lewis Street in order to enhance bandwidth and broadband capacity for events held on Lewis Street. There is no cost to the county for this request.
This letter provides the Board of County Commissioners' support of a grant application being submitted to DOLA for hospital enhancements.
