The Archuleta County costshare program is part of a coordinated grant between the San Juan Conservation District, CSU Extension, and the County Weed and Pest Department. A management plan signed by the weed and pest supervisor, the reimbursement application, and invoice for herbicide or treatment cost, as well as a before and after picture is required for reimbursement. The program is administered by the San Juan Conservation District and all supporting documents must be received by Conservation District staff.
Funds are on a first-come first-serve basis and can only go to the cost of noxious weed mitigation. Funds are available on a year to year basis dependent on grant funding.
