Ranch Watch
What is the Archuleta County Ranch Watch Program?

Ranch Watch, managed by the Mounted Rangers, works for small and large landowners as well as small and large livestock owners and producers.

The Ranch Watch Program™ logo “Handcuffs with Eyes” is an effective deterrent to crime. It represents the eyes of neighbors watching out for one another and the Deputies, Brand Inspectors, Wildlife Officers, watching out for crime against residents and their property.

Horse groups, 4H, FFA, Cattlemen’s and Livestock Associations, FFA, Business and Industry assist the Sheriff in starting the program by sponsoring Ranch Watch Program™ signs designed for our county roads.
