1. Are proposed budgets available for inspection?

Yes. Proposed budgets are posted to this website's Archive Center and hard copies are available for inspection at the Clerk’s Office. See the Budget Calendar for availability dates.

2. How can I influence the county budget process?

Objections may be filed with the county clerk any time after the proposed budget is published and before the final budget is adopted. Citizens may also be heard during any scheduled public budget hearing. The general budget hearings are posted in the Budget Calendar and the department-specific hearings are posted in the Budget Hearing Schedule.
