Property Tax Stabilization Ballot Measure Question

On November 7th, 2006 voters approved Ballot Measure 1A, stabilizing the property tax mill levy rate and removing the limitations of the tax payer's Bill of Rights (TABOR) for the next five years. This page will provide periodic updates on the revenues made available by 1A and how they will be used by the county.

Extra Property Tax Revenues Realized by 1A:
No revenues will be realized from Ballot Measure 1A until 2008

Projects:
In keeping with the Board of County Commissioner's Letters of Commitment, all county roads will be maintained for the next five years. Secondary roads will receive at least one blade, and snow plowing as necessary per year.

As 1A revenues become available in 2008, projects utilizing those revenues will be listed here.
