3. How do I know which properties are being sold this week?

Check our pre-sale list on the foreclosure search.

4. Can I tour the properties before they are sold?

Until the property is sold, it still belongs to the grantor on the Deed of Trust.

5. What is the minimum bid I can bring?

6. How do I sign up to bid?

Bidders must register in our office 15 minutes before the sale.

7. What is a deficiency bid?

The lender gives their opening bid. Sometimes they submit a bid that is below the amount due on the note.

8. How do I pay my purchase?

Payment is due at the close of the sale. It must be in cash or cashier’s check(s).

9. Once I purchase the property at the sale, is it mine?

After the sale there may be junior lienors that have a right to redemption. If all redemption periods expire with no redemption's being made, the property can then be deeded.

10. Why wasn’t a property sold on its sale date?

Sometimes a bid is pulled by the lender. We are not privy to why the bid has been pulled.

11. Does the Public Trustee’s Deed remove all other liens?

The Public Trustee’s office does not have information on other liens. You must do your own research prior to entering your bid. All sales are final. Consult legal counsel for more information.
