Archuleta County has been awarded a grant to conduct a feasibility study for intercity connectivity between Pagosa Springs and Durango. A Request for Proposals (RFP) has been released and bidders are required to submit proposals by February 5. See the Bid section of the website for a copy of the RFP. The RFP has been published in both the Pasoga Sun and the Durango Herald.
Once bids are received, a team will evaluate them, and make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners for acceptance.
It is expected that the project will begin sometime in March.
During the process of this study, the selected firm will be conducting surveys and interviews from the community. Should you wish to participate in this endeavor, feel free to contact the Coordinator, Laura Vanoni, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are looking forward to this project, as this is a much-needed connection between our towns.
